“Give God The Blues” is part of the ODYSSEY, a collection of songs by John Schneider, which he also produced alongside Paul Leim and Alicia Allain, and recorded with Bob Bullock at Backstage Studios. John had this to say about the track, “Every now and again a song comes across my ears that is undeniably the truth. In a very rare occasion, a song is undeniably the truth for everyone who hears it. “Give God the Blues” is such that song, and no matter where a person stands, or what is your truth, I think we can all agree, we all give God the blues. In this song, Bill talks of nearly every truly great country music singer that ever lived from the greats like Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams Sr, Hank Williams Jr, Willie Nelson and all those true outlaws who lived before, during and after.
